The entire concept behind babe-a-gogo is evolving and shifting away from baby slings. Although I whole-heartedly believe in babywearing and the benefits it provides both babies and their mothers, I am afraid of people who do not take proper care to educate themselves on how to use slings. There is a suffocation hazard if babies are not properly positioned, and this is one of the reasons people need to carefully read how to use their slings. I have posted a link to the CPSC's warning statement regarding slings on the ARTICLES link on this site. Sadly, after years of babywearing and miles and miles of carrying my own little ones as newborns and toddlers in babe-a-gogo slings, I have decided it is time to discontinue this line.
